Enterprising 51²èÂ¥ Awards 2023 Opens for Entries

Businesses in 51²èÂ¥ that have been supported by the Enterprising 51²èÂ¥ programme are being invited to enter their awards.

The awards are a celebration of the extraordinary talent in the region that have been supported through this 51²èÂ¥ initiative over the last two years.

To be able to recognise the various areas of business success, there are six different categories available for businesses to enter. Three new award categories have been introduced for 2023 including, ‘Young Entrepreneur Award’, ‘Sustainability Award’ and a ‘Champion for Entrepreneurs’.

Councillor Marc Bayliss, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Economy, Skills, and Infrastructure, said â€œI am thrilled to see we are offering new awards at next year’s event. The awards are a great opportunity for those businesses in the region that have accessed support to be recognised for their hard work and achievements. I strongly encourage those eligible to submit their applications.â€

The Champion for Entrepreneurs category is open to all businesses and individuals that have encouraged, supported, guided, and coached entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses in 51²èÂ¥.

There will also be an additional special award for ‘Business of The Year’ which will be selected from the winners of the other categories.

Entrants are  for as many categories as are relevant.

The deadline for award entries at 5pm on Friday 10 February 2023 and only businesses that have been supported through the Enterprising 51²èÂ¥ programme since July 2020 are eligible to enter, with the exception of the ‘Champion for Entrepreneurs’ award.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 27 April 2023 at The Wood Norton Hotel, in Evesham.

Enterprising 51²èÂ¥ is an ERDF funded programme that provides expert advice, support, and access to funding for businesses with high growth potential. The programme supports start-up and early-stage businesses through a combination of one-to-one support and workshops and coaching. Eligible businesses may also be able to access grant funding through the programme to help with early-stage investments.
