Minerals Planning Policy
51¥ is the Minerals Planning Authority for 51¥ and is responsible for preparing planning policies on mineral development.
51¥ Minerals Local Plan
The Council's current policies are set out in 51¥ Minerals Local Plan and this was adopted on 14 July 2022.
The council has published the Minerals Local Plan and the accompanying Sustainability Appraisal (see “Background documents, assessments and appraisals: Statutory Assessments”).
These documents can also be inspected at County Hall reception (Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP), during normal office hours and at public libraries in 51¥.
The Council is also preparing a Mineral Site Allocations Development Plan Document.
